| This mountain is located on the border of Nagano and Yamanashi prefectures. There is a big rock called “Gojoiwa” at the peak of this mountain and is considered the symbol of Mt. Kimpo. The mountain is one of the “one hundred most scenic mountains” of Japan. | As its name indicates, this mountain is located on the border of three prefectures (Yamanashi, Saitama and Nagano). It is the source of three big rivers, Chikuma River, Arakawa River and Fuji River. The trekking route going through these headwaters is very popular. | ||
